For as many times as I have photographed this area over the years, this time it was different. And, the attached photo is not what most people would have seen even standing next to me. This is the part of photography that is the most elusive. To be able to envision what is beyond our normal vision. The photo is a combination of two extreme wide angle images stitched together to create one vertical panoramic.
